I was Lucky enough to preorder the NX1 and have been using it as my main body. I do have a Samsung NX30 as my 2nd camera but the go to is always the NX1. So far I have had two people not hire me once they found out I was using a Samsung product. First guy was a well to do business man and Nikon shooter lots of Landscape and sky, I saw his Facebook page. I emailed him a few headshots I had done and he loved them everything was good until we started chatting about gear. Next guy was a photographer hired me to shoot a bridal shower to his bride to be. Few emails exchanged all is good. He reached out to me Friday evening wanting me to shoot the next day. Saturday morning few more emails and then we talked on the phone he was supposed to give me the address. He asked me about my gear, all went to shit after that. He thought I was nuts for selling my Canon gear (5D Mark II, three L lenses) for a Samsung. He said he had a few 5D Mark IIIs, and he would text me the address. He never did just went MIA.
Few times I have had guys come up to me and ask about my camera and then they are turned off and walk away with a look on their face like I thought that was a real camera. Conversation cut sort and they walked away. Its just pretty amazing that these so called photog think this way. Dear Mr. I know my cameras, My NX1 does not have an STD.
